Founder

Ivan Saval founded Selcius Partners to bring world-class financial advisory and capital raising expertise to the global agriculture and food complex. He has more than 25 years of investment banking experience across the capital structure and the full range of advisory services. The first part of his career was honed in leading bulge bracket firms before he dedicated the past 15 years exclusively to agriculture and food.

Ivan has advised both domestic and cross border clients on transactions that span conventional agribusiness and disruptive business models reshaping the sector. Notable experience includes the successful recapitalization of Marrone Bio and its subsequent sale to Bioceres, recognized as Latin America’s M&A Deal of the Year in 2024, as well as the sale of CoverCress to Bayer, Symborg to Corteva, and other industry-shaping transactions.
